Hey , first of all I m not actually impressed or felt good staying at Colva Tavern . But first things first . Why then I am giving an average rating for it . There are actually two reasons . First , the hotel staff seemed to be understanding . We were able to get early check in due to this fact . Even check out was delayed by us for around 30 minutes. But they didnot charge us extra for this. Second thing is that its quite close to colva beach . Colva is walk-able distance , just about 10 minutes . But with both this the hotel fails miserably. First of all the Outer part or the interior is not at all nice . All the staircase is full of dust. Room also is not very clean . It is not very cheap also . Other hotels I was getting cheaper rate than this . it took almost rs 700 per night . Then room service also pathetic. there was actually no phone facility to call room service . one night there was no drinking water in the floor . One has to fill the bottle from common aqua guard in the floor . But when I tried to fetch water there was none ! Electric wiring also not good . If we put anything for charging in a specific point all the lights were on and off ! Hotel authority can think about painting the building ,rooms , maintain some cleanliness ,put some good wiring if needed . As all are paying good price anyway so expecting basic amenities or little bit hotel luxury is basic.

Very dirty place.Poor sanitation Foul smelling place . Bad Staff ..Staff very very Rude And un cooperative . No TVs entertainment, free channels only . No wifi, No room service .Reception telephones not working .staff Amar and tavern behaving as if they are the owners of the hotels. There is no politeness In speaking. Forcefully collecting money. They don't start generator if light is gone. Power blacks out frequently. Drinking water not provided in rooms . Passages are like ghost haunted and scary . Very very dirty . Very disgusting ..Waste of Money Be aware and stay away from this hotel

i like rooms very much,approach of front office manager or owner is slightly rough. every rooms balcony view is awesome also very close to colva beach and margharitha club.toilteries they are provide only soap but it is clean,size of room and bathroom very comfortable.tv with cable connection thats why geting all local chanels also but tv was old type nice food geting from sagar kinnara front side get rent a bike just 7 km from margoa or madgoa

nyc place to stay if youre looking to get an affordable AC room with running hot water; about 3 minutes from Colva beach you get a quiet stay which is a better deal than the noise of the beachside ...a nice view of the open fields from front facing balconies; George was available on phone 24/7 and helped us with sightseeing and also gave info on a nyc trek ..we thought Goa was all about beaches ... plenty of dining along the 3 minute walk to the beach plus water sports ..early morning jog on the beach followed by a hot shower at Colva Tavern was nyc..an enjoyable stay quiet and refreshing..
